Yeah, I know. It's been
forever since I posted last. Things got pretty busy out here. I went out for Boston to do my final year in the position of Director of Programming for Anime Boston and when I came back to Seattle it was knuckle-down time for the program guide content - and immediately after that I had to turn around the final schedule and events. Some of you may have noticed that already, but the registration system is now veritably chock-full of anime, film and eGame events for your weekend geekery plesaure.
And since all that's done and I've gotten back the proofs for my program guide content, I wanted to share that with you. This week I'm going to share the Anime Avenue section of the program guide, complete with our cute new mascot designed by one of my favorites artists,
Dan Kim.
The .zip file attached to this post has the 5 full pages set aside for anime in this year's guide. Now everyone, please keep in mind that
these sample pages are not necessarily final. There are a lot of things that can change between now and GC-day, so don't go writing your weekend itinerary in stone tablets yet or anything. They're just a sneak peek.
Over the next few weeks, I'll have a lot more details and information to post. Expect the anime section of the web site to be fleshed a great deal more now that things have largely been finalized and the program book deadlines have been met.
I also have a visual-blocked layout of the (current) schedule to share, but it looks like I'll have to set up another post to get that file up and out to everyone.
