I will (probably) be bringing an army or two for confrontation as well. I have goblins too. The rackham goblins are awesome visually. I couldn't pick just one theme, so I don't enjoy the benefits of the themes, but I do get to bring the red troll, dai-bakemonos, and noble strohm knights. I will also be bringing my wolfen, and my Tir-Na--Bor Dwarves, if I come up with three different army configurations, and they all fit in my travel case. I'm flying in, so space is limited. But I have no scheduled games, so I'm hoping there will be pick up games after hours. In particular, I'd be interested in learning Hordes. Just to be clear, hordes and warmachine don't overlap, right? Sometimes I see references that look like they do, but I thought they didn't. I want to give it a try, if only because I can't seem to find local opponents for confrontation. I might try warmachine, but I painted a box of jacks once, and while it came out ok, it just didn't appeal to me. I like critters better. They didn't have much that wasn't jacks for warmachine at that time, and they might be more interesting now that the line is more fleshed out.
Cerealkiller: Painting is what got me into confrontation. They are consistantly the best minis out there. Find a faction that appeals to you and have fun.
And while I'm on the subject, any Northern Va minis gamers around?
