    NoirNevara:

I just heard from Noffham and he is adding the first set of names so we can post in our NEW FORUM!!  W00T!  It is up!  Look for it with the other gaming groups!!

Wow, from a simple idea I had to get gamers from across the world together to now official status. I am so happy and proud that this group has done so well. It speaks volumes to the quality of people we have in the organization.

    Thanks everyone!

Also, Bundy thanks for your support and I guess nomination for the head honcho of the group as it were. Most humbling.

Please include me on this.  I had a lot of fun playing the Butcher and it was one of the highlights for me this year.  I would like to participate again if you will have me.

Noir, dear.  You still haven't shared your idea for next year's larp.  I want to hear it.  I want to be inspired.  What we've got planned is good, but your's could be GREAT!

We'll never know unless you SHARE!!!!

That, and I'm really BORED in this hotel room.  I need something to research, something to do besides read.  I've gone through 6 novels in the last 2 weeks.  SAVE ME!

    Re: Gen Con UN 2008

Now I am trying something new to alleviate the boredom.  (I have the new Mercedes Lackey/James Mallory novel and the last of the Eragon series waiting for me at home...and I'm in this lovely Hampton Inn.  I love Amazon...it's the only way my mother knows I'm still alive is when she picks up my deliveries.) I'm actually trying to design a t-shirt for next year's LARP.  I hope to have a black/white sketch done within a week.  Maybe two or three actually.  I'll post on the LARP site.

I don't draw well, but maybe some of the others have friends that do and can be inspired by the sketches.  Then, Matt can upload them to cafepress with his account.  If he is willing, that is.

Without giving too much away, picture the All-American Girl Next Door and add tentacles.  Everything goes better with tentacles, at least where Cthulhu is involved.

Definitely from the era the game is based in.  Is that vague enough to keep non-UNers in the dark?

    Re: Gen Con UN 2008

Hey Hector, I think I finally get Cthulhu!

I just read a short story called "The Eldritch Pastiche from Beyond the Shadow of Horror" by Christopher Welch.  It's from a story collection called "Blood Lite" edited by Kevin J Anderson.

Any and all Cthulhu readers should read this story.  I never understood the fascination with this genre of horror fiction, but this story made it all too clear.

    Enjoy!
