    Re: High lvl allnighter

Ok, It sounds great.... It has been soooo long since I have been able toplay a High level allnighter.

Prefferably, a high level D&D mod of some kind.

Any Takers?  Any GM's out there who want to challenge us. Us being those who end up working most of the con and want a late nighter so we too may play...

In regards to level of mod the higher the better. It seems most of my gaming in the last ten years or so has been in lower levels of existence, below 10th.

How about a high level campaign of some kind with Named characters.

Any response would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

I am sooooo there. This game was one of the greatest all-time events I've ever played at GenCon!!! I tried to it some justice last year, but it wasn't the same without Legio and his crew!! If you'll have me, I'd be honored to die horribly in your dungeon, sir!!

    Re: High lvl allnighter

The aforementioned game is very high level intended for master players. The basics are, AD&D 2nd ed all official TSR books will be used, with the exception of Skills&Powers, Players Option and no Psionics. This means no home rules or net books. Pregen characters will be available to choose from or you will be able to build your own (in advance) from a formula we will post in the game description when the games list goes live. This will really be a all night game.

    Re: High lvl allnighter

I would love to play in an allnighter. It has been soooooo long. Although I will have to dig my 2nd edition books out of mothballs. To think of it I may have bought an Unearthed Arcana a few tears ago at the Con.

Oh, please sign me up if you would. It is the Friday night game, right? You do allow old people to play, don't you? Been gaming since the Seventies. I know that seems along time ago, but it was just yeasterday I was playing a Gencon event at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

Depends on how the slots fall but friday night for sure. We will have a backup space incase anything goes wrong, the game will happen no matter what. we aim for a slot in the 7-9 start range and we just go from there, generally we cut the game at 6am if it has not wrapped already.

We are also considering a wednesay game of a different type.

This thread will also contain occasional game clues in the future. Time

One thing to remember (we learned this last year), not all rooms are available 24/7.  We were at Union Station last year and the gaming rooms closed early (4 a.m. or 5 a.m. iirc).

Yes we have considered that, and it is one of the reasons for a backup location.
