Close to a reprieve, but I got a call from one of my cop friends. He said to show up for the pretrial and it would get dropped down to a muffler or something like that. Here, the arresting officer thought I was a criminal. After a few of my cop friends meeting with him and discussing my level of criminalness, it looks like this will hopefully get thrown out. While it doesn't help get me to New Orleans, it does mean I don't have to buy stock in soap on a rope.
