    GCI Boardgame Library?

So I was browsing through the events this afternoon and noticed a GCI Boardgame Library card for $20 that gets you unlimited rentals. Can anyone shed any light on this for a newbie? What is the rental system like? I'd imagine there are a ton of games, but is there a list somewhere? What is the normal cost for boardgame rental?

This definitely seems like something I'd be interested in, but I wanted to find out some logistics first...thanks! :)

I think they said their list changes a bit year to year, and your best bet was looking at the shelf (probably have a list onhand somewhere) to decide. I don't remember seeing a list here last year, though. Was this the company that people said had problems with missing / broken parts in many of the games?

Quote from Dragons of the Dwarven Depths, p259 ... Tas and Tanis talking after Tas says a prayer for the massacred Gully Dwarves.
"It was good of you to think of that," said Tanis. "None of the rest of us did."
"You're busy thinking big things," said Tas. "I keep track of the small stuff."

The GCI Library has about 400 BG Title (and growing). The system is based on an hourly rate, figured on the play time for the selected game, $2 / hour. This does mean you have only an hour to rent it, just how long it takes to play. Once rented, you can play it all day, so long as the game itself stays within the assigned area for Library game play.

The Library Card allows for unlimited rentals during the show ... period. No muss, no fuss, no generic tickets needed.

As to a list, when it is much closer to the show, I will be posting or uploading a list of all the BG Titles. I am currently thinking once in May and an update in July.  I hope this helps, if not send me an email and I will provide answers to any further questions you may have.
