I also got mine. I am hoping to make it in time for the Stink and for Wednesday gaming, but right now, that depends very much on what, if any, job situation I have at the time.

yes I got mine dispight a rather lonely and dissapointing time last year and a con that is looking not too great this year with the lack of WoTC MTG events.

Ask Stran, I practically forced him to come  last year and I'm sure he's glad he did. Now getting ND to come has been a challenge, but he did come game with me at the wench party games :)

Walking around doesn't work. You need to seek people out. This will be my first year. We should all meet up.

We do this at midnight showings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Its a blast and gets people involoved and meeting other people.

Hey, I don't have a problem talking to strangers!  Look for me in my Achmed t-shirt and we'll have a nice chat!  I can't remember who the nice man was whose ear I chatted off last year, and I guess I can't really say for sure that he enjoyed himself, but I know I did (I think his forum named was 3 letters--initials, maybe)!

Just use duct tape. It's cheap, easy and fixes everything.

I did some searching and it looks like Stink is run by the Mavens. Rbree posted the anouncement so I'd start there.

Not sure.  GenCon is more my gig with the getting with and volunteering with thingies.  He likes to spend all day Sat. in the hall of wonders.  I will be at TD pretty much the whole of GenCon.  It's my happy place and where I spend all of my time.

Yup, the Mavens run the Stink.  Ask in either the Mavens public forum here or go to indymavens.com.

Is there booze served at the Stink, or do I need to be packing a flask?

 I am glad I checked this, I would have been dissapointed to have missed it this year.

 It's our first stink, but second GenCon.  I've already done a stint in the barrel, so a sacrafice here and there shouldn't be too bad.

No booze at the STINK!

Or at least, if it's held in the convention center again, there will be no booze. None allowed on site I believe...

 However, since I don't recall off the top of my head where exactly it will be this year, you might or might not need that flask. :)

I don't know about this year....But last year we had an open bar outside of the Stink, where you could purchase your drinks. Hopefully we'll have more info on this soon.
