    TD Ticket Orphanage

Due to the problems encountered with event reg I was unable to get 2 TD tickets for Friday or Saturday and my only recourse is to establish the TD Ticket Orphanage.

The goal of the TD Ticket Orphanage is first and foremost to get me and my girlfriend TD tickets on a puzzle run on Friday or Saturday, basically any time.  Luckily, by taking the care and effort to create this wonderful organization, I can provide a home for the other TD tickets that might become available for others.

So, if you have TD tickets that you need to give up or have room for others due to a change in schedule, please post it here so I, and others , can fill any spots that open up.

    Great idea!

*Gets in line patiently behind Krauser and waits to see if he can get 2 tickets as well.*

Or you could check over at the True Dungeon Forums where you stand a considerably higher probability of finding what you want.

Quote from Dragons of the Dwarven Depths, p259 ... Tas and Tanis talking after Tas says a prayer for the massacred Gully Dwarves.
"It was good of you to think of that," said Tanis. "None of the rest of us did."
"You're busy thinking big things," said Tas. "I keep track of the small stuff."

    Re: TD Ticket Orphanage

It is against Gen Con policy to trade/sell tickets, and it's against forum rules to trade/sell anything on the forum. I'm surprised a Mod hasn't already popped in her to let you know.

[whisper] Check the TD forums, like atstepchild's recommendation [/whisper]

But as far as I know... It's not against forum rules to say I have 3 spaces left in my group.  Ora I am returning 3 tickets back to GenCon.  SO as long as there is no selling going on it should be OK right?

    Re: TD Ticket Orphanage

You can definitely say you are turning the tickets back in so people know they are available. Technically, you can't say you have three spaces open because it implies they have to pay your for the ticket. Forming groups is supposed to be done before purchasing the tickets. Wink

    Re: TD Ticket Orphanage

While I sympathize with your plight, you are indeed running a very close line to a CoC violation. So far, and as long as there is no direct or indirect implication of potential sales offers, I see no reason to pull this thread

To anyone responding with TD tickets, post only that you are returning tickets to GCI. You can, and should also post the day and time of tickets being returned for refund.

I hope this works out and there is no need to pull this thread.
