Hey, that's cool!   My wife is already going to take our son there on Thursday.  Very good Kids Museum, and if you have a membership to other museums, check and see if they are part of the reciprocal museum group so you can get in Free.

Glad to hear you like us!!  But, to respond to your suggestion, The Children's Museum is NOT a part of the reciprocal museum program.  It was just costing us too much money!

Anyway, here is a post I put up in the General Topics area, with my photos I took during a Staff preview.  I'll update with more photos after Animation opens.

    May 3, 2008 – May 3, 2009--Comic Book Heroes
Find out about comic books, the artists who create them and the amazing characters they feature! Including selections from the Max Simon Comic Book Collection, an impressive collection of nearly 20,000 comics, Comic Book Heroes introduces families to the vast world of comic books and inspires them to read, collect and create!

UPDATE:  Here is a link to some pictures I took at the staff preview opening this morning.

    May 24, 2008 – Jan. 4, 2009--Animation featuring Cartoon Network
What child hasn’t spent hours after school or on Saturday mornings watching their favorite cartoons? What adult doesn’t have fond memories of watching them? In Animation, a new exhibit from the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry in collaboration with Cartoon Network, children and adults can explore the art, math, science and technology of animation from concept to finished product. Familiar characters from Dexter’s Laboratory, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends and other favorites will illustrate the process.

UPDATE:  Here is a link to some pictures I took at the donor preview this evening.  Dexter wouldn't stand still for my picture!

Great, thanks for the info!  We are bringing our youngest son with us, again this year. He is 6 years old now, and is really going to be able to enjoy this display, right along with all the Con has to offer!  :)
