I noticed that the Preliminary Author list has been posted in the downloads section.

 Any chance we can get the same sort of list for the Art Show?

Been almost a month since I first asked about this.  Have there been any updates or changes that might make the artist list available, even in preliminary form ala the Attending Authors list.

Any ETA on when it will be posted?

Agreed.....I too would like to know if a preliminary list of artists would be available as that is one of the primary reasons for going to GenCon

As a signed card collector emphasizing Magic the Gathering, getting a list of artists who will be in attendance is crucial for planning what cards to bring to Indy. It takes time to acquire them so I sure hope the list is up soon. It's only fifty-seven (57) days to blastoff!

 Now I have to resist the urge to go out an buy a ton of foils in hopes of finding good deals at the Con.

I saw on the exhibitors list that L.A. Williams Art Inc. and Ruth Thompson's Tarnished Images will be sharing booth 1517. However, neither artist shows up on the preliminary list of attending artists. Does this mean that, while their businesses will be exhibiting, the artists will not be in attendance?

I've met them both at the con at their booths in the past.  It just means they didnt buy an art show panel or table.  They may still be at their booths.

Good to see Bill Stolpin return this year. His dragon stuff is neat.

I've recently started getting into art - the last couple of years or so.  I try to buy one nice piece from the art show or the dealer's hall every year.  It's probably the only 'big' thing I'll buy the whole convention! :D

 So many artists..so little money. Hmmm gas money or art prints...I could always try grease from restaurants...hmmmm

 Decisions, decisions decisions

If youa re coming all the way from Canada--seems to me your gas is gonna cost a substantial amount more then the art would.  Maybe find something smaller--i.e. see "cheaper" to appease your needs in the art area this year lol.  GL!
