    Re: SPA Events

    Hi anjala!

Just to expand a bit on what Lee said, first off, I'm sorry there isn't anything on the main Gen Con website about the SPA program yet, but here's a link to a comprehensive listing of all SPA events:

    http://gencon.highprogrammer.com/gencon-indy-2008.cgi/type/SPA/All_events

However, what isn't listed there is our brand new OPEN CRAFTING room, which will be well stocked with supplies, and which you can use to finish an open crafting project, start a new one, or just hang out with crafty people. :)  That's in the Westin, on the second floor along with most of the SPA events.  It's in Senate I, and it's open Th-Sat 10-8, Sun 10-3.  It's completely free to use.

As you can see, we doubled the size of the program again this year, with nearly 70 events.  I hope you can join us!  I'm the volunteer SPA coordinator, so if you have any further questions about the SPA program, please don't hesitate to post them here, or email me at marimacc (at) gmail.com, and I'd be happy to help you out. :)  Cya there!

    craft room donations

I've got a table at a craft goods tent sale on August 2nd. Whatever doesn't sell, I'm going to pack up & bring down for the craft room.

Do you have somewhere to store things between Cons if it's not used up? Because, to be honest, I don't want to have to take any of it back home!

What do you get when you cross the Atlantic with the Titanic? - about half-way....

    Ooh, thanks Jenn!

Yes I do; we have some storage space available.  Thanks for thinking of the program,. Just, let me know if you're bringing a HUGE amount of stuff if you can before then.  Or, something really big. :)  I promise you won't have to take any of it back home.

    Re: craft room donations

    No huge items.

I'm sorting through scrapbooking & cardmaking supplies, plus going through my fabric and acrylic paints.

I'll let you know more details after the sale on the 2nd when I see what I have left.
