    Badge missing, getting worried...

    Well, I elected to pay the extra shipping cost for UPS and a guaranteed badge, and UPS has managed to lose my packet :( According to UPS they can't do anything to help me and I need to contact GenCon for"replacement product".

     

    I have been trying to contact customer service to arrange to pick up a new badge and tickets at will call since last Thursday and I haven't gotten any response yet. I know all the posts say that Aleta is backed up with issues and to give her time, but the Con is only one week away at this point and I'm starting to worry. I'm sure that everyone will soon be packing up and leaving for Indy. Is there anything else I can do to get this resolved?

     Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction!!

    Well yes, Aleta is the person you would email, and I would definitely bring any paperwork you have from UPS saying they lost your package with you on site.

    Don't forget paperwork for your Events as well.  They would have been included with your Badge.

     I see by my email blast that GenCon staff are leaving today for Indy. Still no response to any of my emails or calls to Customer Service [:'(]

     Guess I'm showing up badgeless early Wednesday to get this straightened out. Apologies to anyone stuck behind me in line at the Customer Service desk...

    If you have something from UPS showing that they lost your pacakge, your only wait will be the time it takes to print out new badges and tickets.  That's the point of UPS, there's clear evidence as to whterh the package was delivered or not.
