I'm unpacking things that have been in storage for over 10 years.  Among the stuff I've found are 5 pewter figures from playing D&D in the late 70's.  Two of them are Ral Partha, 1976.  Are these worth anything? They;ve been very badly painted.

Secondly, its turned out that I can't afford to come (unless I sold enough to pay for my hotel space and since I'm not turning up an original set of D&D books (I destinctly remember decided I couldn't afford them - darn it) I don't think I can), this means I cannot put anything in the auction because I'm not there, right?

Unfortunately, they're not worth much.  Figurines have come a long way since the '70s: More detail, better artwork, etc.

Yep - those are the convention's rules.  Non-attendees are not allowed to participate in any events (and the auction is an event).  Do you know anyone who IS coming that could sell them for you?
