Look Number 7 Entertainment's Attack of the Nerds Comedy Showcase has less than 40 seats left and GenCon Indy is only a month away!

 

 

One of "Attacks" featured comedians is Dave Hyden. Dave, or "Alpha Nerd" as he likes to be called has been performing his brand of smart, cynycl brand of comedy all over United States. One recent boost to his career was being cast in the winning "Crash the Superbowl" Dorito's commercial.

I'd love to check out the show but $12 is outta my price range.

I really hope this is not true.

The comics performing happen to be fans of comics, D&D, video games, tech, toys, and wrestling among other things.These are things they have obsessions about. It is just one of the things you might hear about during the show.

All the comedians performing have their own style, and subject matter they like to talk about on stage. 

I think what the lady is referring to is the 'Gygax' tag.  Not sure how he (appropriately) fits into a comedy show myself.

I don't think any one is dumb enough to poke fun at Mr. Gygax or the Hit Man at GenCon. That would be like sticking your bloody nose in a tank of piranna. 

I think that Gygax had a great sense of humor though. Any one see him on Futurama? Very funny stuff. 

Any way, If I end up at this show I'll be disapointed if I don't hear some jokes about parent's basement dwelling, D&D, comic book collecting folk.
