    Wow. Housing Registration was easy.

Seriously. It was easy to go through housing and get a room. And I even got my first choice at the Springhill Suites. The only glitch: it was a *bit* slow loading at 11am central time. Is the world coming to an end??? Jane
Yarrgh. There be beasties in those woods. I'd advise ye to be a wee bit careful what ye be chat tin' about.

I'm not reading complaints from too many ppl here.  Could this be the result of the convention center expansion- more hotels and more rooms in the GC block?

I think a lot of it had to do with the extra number of rooms in the block and the 10 minute hold Passkey put on the reservations once you picked your room type.  Nice though that the system didn't crash though and that definitely wasn't dependent on the number of rooms or the expanded convention center, so either way there were improvements all around.

The hotel registration was vastly improved this year, so to whomever and whatever made it happen, thank you!

My new current goal is to be present for Gencon 75, without missing one in between - except for 2013, because my posse is lame-sauce.

I sorta wonder if the fact that Gencon didn't give a direct link to the passkey site until reg started helped. The extra click-through might have helped to modulate the traffic just enough to keep passkey from crashing right away.
