A little light, so I may look and add a couple of things if I can. Still not sure about adding something for Sunday - fligth isn't until 5, but I start my "OMG we're going to DIE in a plane crash" worrying nice and early, so I may be less of a nuisance to others spending that time in the DH!

    Re: What did you Get?

Hit submit at noon, got into position 3114, and after an hour of processing, I hit paydirt and got all my and my boyfriend's events!

(Sadly I am missing MY spread sheet cause my laptop is trying to die on me.)

The ones I'm excited about is a TD run we'll be doing together (Thurs., 2:15 if anyone else, Golembane puzzle oriented), a couple of cotume seminarsdone by, "...And Sewing is Half the Battle!", and of course the Stink!

Throw in some wit and sarcasm here and ramblings of kitties.

You're thinking of Shadows Over Baker Street. That was the one we posted for cancellation: http://community.gencon.com/forums/t/30912.aspx

    Re: What did you Get?

I did pretty well. Had backups for most of my open slots, and wound up with:

Friday 4-6: Deadlands: Hell on Earth

    Friday 8-Midnight: Mage: the Awakening

    Saturday 5-9PM: Blue Planet

I'll have a few generic tickets on hand for Games on Demand, but most of my remaining time's eaten up with Exhibitor Hall and seminar work.

    Soolseem:
Bit of an offtopic noob question, but how do I format my post so my events show up on separate lines, rather than a wall of text?

Look up the "break" html function on Youtube or google it online. I think it's /br in [ ] or < > brackets or something at the end of a line.  Play with it and try it out.

Damn, I love Gen Con! Yes

Or use Firefox. I ran into this problem when I used IE earlier. I opened Firefox, cut and pasted the message, and voila! It was all good.

    Re: What did you Get?

A lot of Middle Earth Role Playing with some Gamma world, Star Frontiers, and Cthulhu thrown in for good measure.  Oh, and a couple of True Dungeon runs to round it out.

    Re: What did you Get?

Got everything I asked for, with the exception of the new Fluffy event...which makes me sad.  Hopefully, I can sneak in with a genetic.

Yeah. Genetics are good, but sometimes it's like they're after blood. That sneaking must be a family trait.

    Re: What did you Get?

I have a fairly heavy schedule running games and working the auction...

I did get the following for myself though:

WED - Stink 10: The Anniversary Edition

THUR - A Gross Affair in Argos Conan, 2nd Edition

FRI - Dark Sword Speed Painting Contest Round 3

SAT - Publishing 101: How to Publish Your Adventure, Bestiary, or Campaign

Anywhere I lay my head I'm gonna call my home.

    Re: What did you Get?

I said this elsewhere but I got nothing.  Of course, that was because there was nothing in my cart (I am running 9 events over the course of the convention, so I don't really have time to play anything).  So I guess I could say that I got everything and nothing that I wanted.
"I gots all my own teefs" actual Pick-up line overheard at a Diamond Shamrock in New Waverly, Tx.

Come check out the website for my new living campaign, The Heroes of Altamira guildofsanmarcos.net. Who knows you might even find yourself playing.

    Re: What did you Get?

I got nothing in my top 6. I did manage to get a bunch of events that I really like though. Legendofthe five Rings, Battletech (2 sessions), "Age of the Relentless" D&D Next (2 sessions), Mage Wars, Sovereign Wars, Starship Troopers, Wizard&Melee, Ascension - casual tournament (never played it before), Infiltration, Murder in Baldur's Gate (thurs 8am), Hoplomachus, Monster Mash (D&D minis). Yeah it is a full schedule. But I managed a few hours for dealer hall wandering. I missed Runequest and Dresden - which are 2 games I really wanted. There is always next year....

    Re: What did you Get?

I got everything in my top 6 list except Fluffy (boo!)  Just for grins, I signed up for Battlelords of the 23rd Century; I did a lot of writing for the game back in the early 90's, and a lot of demos at cons, and it occurred to me that I've never actually played it at a con.  Should be interesting!

And I recently added in a Saturday WHFRPG (despite hating 3rd edition, I couldn't resist seeing how they did w/ the redoing Enemy Within), and the Sunday Belly danceclass w/Different Drummer BD!
