    2006 Secret Santa wish list

Okay gals and guys I'll start the thread to list a few things you like. PLEASE DO NOT POST WHO YOUR GIFT RECEIVER IS!! only post things that interest you, give the person who has you (even though you don't know) an idea of what to buy.
Make sure they are things that can be found for under $10.

    Me??
I'm a girl. I like dice, the color purple, eeyore, vampires, RHPS, candles, candleholders, inspirational sayings, movies.. the list could go on.
please do NOT send me anything pink!

    I'll post more ideas later.

I'll bet most people here know what the SCA is!  Don't underestimate gamers and their love of creative anachronism.

So as far as gift exchanges go is it tacky to send something from your personal collection of stuff that you've opened, never used, and did not pay for (won it at a games convention)? Say like a game that has been signed by the creator.

I know that last year a few people did that. Part of the gift I sent last year was from my own dice collection. So my guess is that it's kosher, but I'll let the squid running it make the official call.

If it's a cool gift, why not? 'Sides, we're only spending 10 bucks.

May I suggest you put a note saying who signed it. I got my gift last year and didn't know who it was so I was a bit confused until Oni told me who it was.

Re: 2006 Secret Santa wish list

okay... what does sherry like.... lets see....

Well I moved into a new condo at the begining of August, so right now household knicknacks are a good thing.  I need artwork for my walls too if you have a cheap artist on hand.

I like Dragons, Fantasy Art, and Pigs.  I prefer deep colors, earthy and/or gemstone types.
Of course I like gaming stuff too.. I don't have a huge collection of card games and would love to have more.

Oh, and I hate pink and other pastel colors, lol.

Hopefully that helps someone out Smile

I'm a girl.  My favorite color is blue, and I am fairly ecclectic.  I like D&D and associated things (dice, minis, etc), fairies, superheroes (Justice League and Teen Titans in particular), non-collectable card games, board games, puzzles, children's/YA lit (studying to be a children's librarian), camping, music (playing, singing, and listening), Girl Scouts, and crafts.

Lesse; for me, good things are always socks and chapstick/lip gloss.  I love big comfy cotton socks, fun socks, any kind of socks; my sock drawer overflows!  As for chapstick/lip gloss; another thing I love, and you will NEVER see me without, and I always love fun new flavors.

As for gaming stuff, anything miniature and minature painting related is most welcome. :)

I am a guy.  I like miniatures games.  I like to paint minis and could always use more.  I have just started the World of Warcraft card game(it ROCKS!!!).  Star Wars minis, D&D minis and any new maps are cool too.

    I came, I played, I went happy.

Re: 2006 Secret Santa wish list

I'm a guy.  I like miniatures, but mostly the pre-painted variety (primarily Heroscape and D&D minis).  I wouldn't mind picking up some non-collectible card games (Lunch Money, Fluxx, Guillotine), but I'm not sure if they can be had for less than $10.  Recently, I've been thinking about starting to read some of the Eberron fantasy novels.  And, of course, dice are nice.  Big Smile

I am an anthropomorphic squid-man. I like Star Wars (especially Admiral Ackbar), Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, practical stuff (like socks or comfy slippers), long walks on the beach, and Admiral Ackbar.

As for gaming stuff, I'm not so into mini's, but I do like dice & non-collectible card games (Fluxx, Anachronism, Munchkin).

Oh, and I also like Admiral Ackbar. Stick out tongue
