(PS - what was up with people advancing and not showing up for Round 2? Seemed like a LOT of teams were either missing entirely or only had 1 or 2 folk show. Oh well)
We (The Missionary Men, WE'RE ON TOP!) had people signed up for both D&D Open and DCC, and I'm sure many other teams were in the same situation. We also had one guy who needed to change around some booth work time to continue on. I was the only one in the group who wasn't in another game.
The Conscripts, my team, were *as the name implies* an all recruit team. 2 folks wanted to play and the NASCRAG folks filled out the team. Unfortounately that ment that none of us had actually planned our schedules around the event and only 2 or so could come back.
I had an awesome time doing NASCRAG. I have given up Heroclix after this year and now I am searching for a central pillar to my schedule. I believe this will be it, and I plan on pimping it up for next year.
I have heard that it was a bit more entropic than normal, but I believe that construction and other outside factors are the main point behind that. It was more than enough fun for me to try again.
