Hi all. I've been out of touch with everyone except Hector, who has kept me busy with all sorts of facebook invitations. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time to correspond on facebook like some others. Life since Gen Con has been routine. It's all about the kids, as many of you know. That has been especially true as we made it through the holidays.
I will definitely be at GenCon this year. I will be staying with some friends from my local gaming group. If we find ourselves with extra space, I will let it be known, but it is unlikely. I do think it's a great idea for UN members to share space if coming alone. Not only will you have cheaper accomodations, but you will also have a nice location set up for UN festivities.
I must admit I have done nothing to prepare for the proposed Cthulhu LARP. Did we ever decide what scenario would would do? Who will take the lead? (I think it was Hector, but I am not sure.) How we get our event included in Wednesday night gaming?
I'll check back soon. But I fear I won't be on this site regularly for some time. Maybe a couple times a week.
One more thing. I am all for setting up a GenCon 2008 UN shirt, but I believe this time we can set it up where we directly purchase it from the manufacturer. It may cost a couple of extra bucks each, but that way no one takes the risk of getting stuck with 5 shirts they don't need. To that end,if anyone has any design ideas, please feel free to post them. It will be hard to top Alex's design from last year.
