Since last years walk went over so well we are planning another one in '08!  We are also hoping it will be an offical GenCon event (when the event submission time comes rolling along)  One of the walks participants offered to help with makeup this year so we may have a Zombie makup seminar before the walk as well!!

Led by our intrepid zombie wanglers Shaun and Ed, participants will walk, shamble and moan in a semi-orderly fashion through the streets of Indy. Zombie makeup and attire optional but strongly encouraged. All ages are welcome to join us at this free event.

 I might just do that. It's a combination of factors right now, money and seeing if my job would let me off for that week. I really want to make it and also bring some more zombies into this world thru makeup and what not.

You'll be surprised once you get a bit of makeup on how easy it is too relax and really put yourself out there. Myself, I'm not the most outgoing fellow but when I put the costume on, all bets are off.

 It's especially good if you have a crowd of zombies to blend in with. One zombie people just look and move on. An army of zombies, well thats an attention grabber!

 
And I'm speaking from experience, being the zombie public relations guy last year. Shambling around the convention center and the gen con party a good 3-4 hrs before the walk

Long story short. It's a blast in the walk and the more the merrier. Look forward to shuffling besides you and the rest of the crew!

Thanks! Im hoping to be able to contribute some makeup! My brother for some reason has a huge supply of fake blood (17 year old boys are odd) and he may be joining his big sis to gencon this year.

Speaking of which for the makeup stations. I met a vendor when I was shambling around that had a tone of makeup and prosthetics. He's actually the one who gave me my zombie smile with some awesome teeth.

If anyone has the vendor list from last year I wonder if we could track him down and see if he could give us a deal with the makeup. Just an idea.

I am talking to Kevin who was with us on the walk last year.  He has offered to help with makeup for the walk.  We are hoping to have a seminar right before the walk for people who want to learn how to make some good zombie makeup.
