    Coming to the Auction Store

    So what are you going to be placing in the Auction store? Its getting close so I thought this would be a good thread for all of the Forumites to see some of the items that will be in the store up for grabs. ( Remember its against forum policy to list prices so please do not list them )

    We are placing the following:

    HeroClix, Halo Actionclix & HorrorClix Figures

    D&D Miniatures Handbook 3.5 edition

    Heroscape Rise of the Valkyrie set (New)

    D&D Gargantuan Black & Gargantuan Blue Dragons (New)

    Vampire and Werewolf Novels

    Marvel Spiderman, Ironman, X-men, and Gen 13 novels (not graphic novels actual novels)

    When its inevitable, relax and enjoy it!
    Make sure to Mental Floss often!

    Life is to short to worry about the minor stuff. Tell your Kids you love them, Often!

    I've got a couple of the Target exclusive Halo Actionclix two figure sets - one to play with and one to display, but that's it so far. Since I only have two of them, and since none of my friends play either, I'm afraid I haven't been able to use them yet, but I wouldn't mind buying some more in case I do find a group to game with.

    They Halo are actually the limited edition 2 figure sets. I was able to get my hands on 2 more of them and no one around here wanted them.

    Haha, that's coincidental. I got mine on clearance at Target for less than two bucks a set. In hindsight, I probably should have bought more, even if they just served as gifts or something, but oh well. That's what the auction store is for! Wink

    Do you want to limit this thread to Store only items or include Auction registered items too?

    For those of you considering selling items in the auction, I can tell you I had pretty good luck last year.  I made enough off my items to pay for my trip to Gen Con.  The one piece of advice I can offer is PRE-REGISTER your items!  You'll be very glad you did when you see the lines to enter auction items.  There's nothing quite as discouraging as getting close to the front of the line and seeing a guy open a box with 60 items to register...

    Patience Grasshopper, patience.

    I will be posting stuff very soon for the auction.  Currently I am confirming the absolute completeness of my Civilization and Advanced Civilization along with my copy of Supremacy that shall be making its way to Indianapolis.

    I'll also throw this hook in the water, I am still waiting to get my hands on a decent copy of "Escape From Colditz" w/swastika.  Sorry, but last year's sole copy was not in the condition that I want.  I know for a fact that if a Colditz shows up, there is always spirited bidding!

    Re: Auction Store Items

    I'm be bringing quite a bit to both the store and stage.  In the store will go most of my "common" RPG modules and supplements.  Nothing too extraordinary:

     Seasons 1-4 Babylon 5 dvd sets;

    Lots of 2nd edition box sets;

    Paranoia game items;

    Lots of Dragon and other gaming mags;

    Avalon Hill Starship Troopers (missing a few pieces)

    Quest for the Dungeon Master and Escape From New York boardgames (these might do in the auction instead);

    Some 3E hardcovers are cheap prices;

     I've got a few hundred items still to go.....!

    Re: Auction Store Items

    Has anyone else put items in the auction store that you may want the Forumites to know about? Come on free advertising. I can't believe that the few items listed are all thats going to be in the store.

    Re: Auction Store Items

    I'm thinking about putting some Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back posters in there (old Pringles promotional posters). I'll have to track down some poster tubes first though.

    I only have two complete sets of the posters though, which I'm planning on entering into the auction. Any thoughts on the viability of maybe setting up bundles of those remaining posters (two of the Droids, 5 of Luke, and 29 of Hans & Leia)?

    Re: Coming to the Auction Store

    Would there be interest in a Warhammer 40k Eldar Battlebox, figures in various states of construction/painting?  I've also got an Edlar Fire Prism grav tank (opened, not built) plus some other misc painted Eldar figures.  Do you think that would be good to place as a lot in the stage auction?

    I wish I had something witty to say...

    Coming to the Auction Store

    I am coming with some art card sets.  No chase cards or rares but the basic sets.  The artists I will be bringing are:  Alien World of Wayne Barlowe Set, John Berkey, Richard Corben, Bob Eggleton, Chris Foss, Frank Frazetta (set 2), Tim Hildebrandt's Flights of Fancy Set, Brothers Hildebrandt Set, Ken Kelly (sets 1 & 2), Tom Kidd, Don Maitz (sets 1 & 2), David Mattingly, Luis Royo (Secret Desires and Forbidden Universe sets), Barclay Shaw, Sorayama Sexy Robots and Pinups Set, James Warhola, Michael Whelan (set 2)

    They will be in plastic boxes and most are pretty cheap, so save shipping versus picking them up on ebay.

    Re: Coming to the Auction Store

    I will be putting items from TSR's Marvel Super Heroes Game.  So far I have the following:

    Deluxe City Campagn set (not in the box but otherwise complete)

    Secret Wars and Secret Wars II game Modules

    Set of 4 modules based on the Days of Future Past storyline

    Set of 3 modules for cosmic heroes

    Set of 2 modules about time travelling Avengers

    I am working to get more entered but that is it so far.

    Re: Auction Store Items

    I've been working steadily through a mountain of stuff.....more for the Auction:

     Warlock of Firetop Mountain Boardgame (very cool!)

    Dragon Strike Video (hey, maybe someone wants it....!)

    Some German language versions of the Pendragon rules and Rolemaster books

    Some very rare early Knights of the Dinner Table comic issues...including 3-6.  The first three issues were self published by Jolly and had miniscule print runs!

     And lots more of this and that.....

    These should probably be in the auction proper - they are quite collectable !

    I make things work...or break...it's hard to tell which
