Am I the only person that has yet to receive their badge and event tickets?

Let's see...I spent $1500 on 3 VIG badges for a friends bachelor party and a few hundered $'s on event tickets and still have yet to receive them.

Yeah, I'm just a tad bit stressed here.

Seriously, we received our badges--but not our event tickets.  I have heard of others that have also not received one or the other.  I wonder though, are the VIG badges being given out in a different way?  It seems to me I remember reading this somewhere--but don't quote me on that--I mean it, don't do it!!! lol

If you haven't received anything, there is ABSOLUTELY no reason to stress yet.  Badges just started to be sent out, and by no means are they all sent out already.  If you have an issue, such as no badge, missing tickets, and/or someone else's tickets, please email aleta@gencon and she'll be able to fix the problem.

The system default is for will call, you may want to check and see if it shows will call on the account.

We still haven't received our badges yet.  No worries though.  Watched pot and all that...

You're not alone. My wife got all her badges and tickets last week. Still waiting for mine.

Rhone, if I were you I'd go back in and doublecheck that you aren't willcall. Although I changed mine to ship to me later, when I registered and paid for my events and such, it was set as will call, so that's why I haven't gotten mine--and won't!

If you click on the 'View events purchased' and then click on the transaction number, it will show you what everything's set to. If it shows ship to me, I'd say give Aleta a call on Monday if you still haven't gotten them.

Don't worry, give it 1 more week, then start worrying.

Every day that goes by without that badge showing up, she gets more and more emo on me.  Patience is definitely not one of her virtues.

Well I hope every one gets their badges that is still waiting for them.

 Today is July 30th and I still dont have my badge yet.

 Called Cust serv and sent an email statign I ordered it and have the order #. The response I got was it was shipped but once its shipped you better pray the mail delivers it.

 United States Postal Service (USPS) –Mail is sent via first class and is at the mercy of the postal system. Any lost badges or tickets will not be reissued. Any returned mail will be available for pickup at the Will Call booth onsite.

im just kind of a bit upset that I ordered a badge and due to no fault of my own I didnt get it I have to shell out another $75 for one.

you can't blame gen-con for going this route though, it saves them from people trying to pull the wool over thier eyes, and hopfully keeps thier costs down

It bothers me too that once the badges are in the mail, it's tough noogies if they get lost. I mean really, that's kind of a sucky attitude and totally unnecessary.

I suggest that there be an insurance option to cover if this would happen.  I do Ebay shipping all the time and you can insure anything legal with a dollar value.  It would only cost a few bucks and that would be a huge piece of mind for some of us.
