    Stage dimensions?

Anyone recall (or have this year's) stage dimensions?

We're a group of three, and two of our costumes need some space.  "Stand back, I take large steps!"  While a bit of destruction might be in character for me at least, I'd rather not be stuck with a bill for smashing a speaker tower or anything.  If we need to plan our presentation for limited room, we'd like to know in advance.

    Thanks!

    Re: Stage dimensions?

I believe that the costume contest is in the same room as the Killer Breakfast...right after it, I believe.  If so, then the stage is approximately 20 feet from side to side and 10 feet front to back.  It is 3 feet off of the floor with stairs on both ends that are about 3 feet wide.  There may be the video projection screen at one end, angled, that will take up a lot of room.  This may be taken down after the KB, but I doubt it, it is quite large.  We could barely fit Tracy, Laura and two tables on the stage for 8 people.  It is quite small.  To get an idea of size you could go to www.killerbreakfast.com and watch one of the videos to see everyone on stage.  This will give you the best idea of size and how it should be laid out.

    I hope that helps.

Thanks!  That fits with what I remembered of last year....  I was hoping it would be a bit wider, though.  Twenty feet is going to be a tad... cramped with all three of us....

But now that we know, we can plan ahead.  So we'll be fine.  :)

My girlfriend called the Westin (our routine takes some space as well) and we were told about 12x10 and carpeted.  Check some of the videos on YouTube to get a sense of the space.

I like my women the way I like my swing dancing: fast, loose, and airborne.
