Item for the Charity Auction and a question

As a hobby I rebind rpg books with custom designs. I donated one of my D&D re-bindings at the Origins charity auction last year. I plan on bringing one for Dog in the Vineyard (A small Indie press game) to this years GenCon charity auction. Since it will have a larger appeal to the Indie RPG crowd than the general audience I was hoping to get it signed by the author (Who will be at the con) and then do a little advertising at the Indie press booth in the dealers room before I handed it over to the Auction on Saturday. It is my hope this will get its target audience into the auction and raise a little extra cash for the charity.

Is there a deadline to get things to you for the charity auction?

I believe the Charity auction will be Saturday evening; do you have an actual start time?

Would it be a better idea to come by Thursday and talk to you and return Saturday to give you the book? Or is it ok to just drop it off sometime Saturday afternoon?

    Thanks

Re: Item for the Charity Auction and a question

We do not officially have a deadline for entering charity items but if you could get it in to us Saturday morning I would really appreciate it.  Early afternoon would be OK, but the earlier the better so we have time to get it in our system and get it properly tagged.  If you do get it signed let us know when you turn the item in and we will try to get a remark about the signature on the tag.

Thanks for supporting our charity auction!
