Whew!  Another whirlwind GenCon!  A great time was had by all.

We ran 363 players thru the Pretanic Island Saga - Into the Wind.  A slight drop from the numbers from last year, but we were off in the basement of the Omni Severin.  There weren't the crowds of people walking by that we usually are able to pressgang off.

This was the first year we were able to post Round 1 Advancement on the web on www.NASCRAG.ORG.  That saved folks with web access a trip back to the omni to find out if they made Round 2.  We weren't able to do it for Round 2 - because we finished the scoring about a half hour before Round 3!

I'll have the results posted here and on the website in the next few days.  For now just let me mention that the winning team included the Forum's own Lady Cassandra and her husband Dana (is he Rainbow of Doooom?).  I'm not sure if there are other forumites on that team or not.  Speak up if you were on that team.

No, Rainbow_of_Dooooom is on the team as is Cheeky Amazon and Lamork, but Lady Cassandra's husband is anonymous on the forum.

We had a blast and didn't think we had a chance of winning especially after a brutal second round which left us on the cusp of not making the finals.

Actually, the husband goes by Fineltour on the forums.  With everything he's got going, he just doesn't get on the forums much. (Especially now that the Plaid Chameleons site is up and running.) 

Thanks for another great year of Nascrag fun, it wouldn't be GenCon without the time we get to spend with you!
