You know you've been at GenCon too long when...

Ok I know there's no such thing as "too long," but humor me!  I've had 2 of these moments so far & am sure other have as well.

...you glance down at your tile floor and think, "game spaces!"

...you stand up after using the 'facilities' and expect it to flush automatically. ;-)

Here's another one:  you go to use your briefcase, and find all sorts of stuff you just threw in there during GenCon.

I'll be "unpacking" for the next few weeks . . . Surprise

... someone mentions McDonalds and you think you can just go downstairs for it, or Steak & Shake and go across the street.

... you forget you have to drive to get places.

Some of us at the GAD party did the same think looking down from that 20th floor balcony at the cement below. We were assigning cover to people walking, movement penalties, etc.

    I have two.

You come home from work that first day after the con and wonder why housekeeping didn't make the bed or give you clean towels.

One early morning, you roll over and look that your bedside clock and realize that you have a game starting in 15 minutes and then wake up completely to remember that you work 2nd shift.

Re: You know you've been at GenCon too long when...

After staying up far too late Thursday and Friday for different events, on saturday morning I was pushing my son in his stroller and I saw him drop his bottle.  I was looking for it on the floor and couldn't find it.  It was because someone had already picked it up and was trying to hand it to me but in my sleep deprived state I didn't notice. When I finally did they were just like "we are all kinda there right now, third day of gencon after all"

Ummm How bout1d8+12?  With percentile you could end up tipping 100%, or 1%.  If you tip one percent don't go back.  They'll touch your food or something.

You know you've been at GenCon too long when...

... you decide on the very last moment that you don't want to go to your friend's party, and start wondering if you'll make it in time to the HQ and get a full refund for the tickets.

When you dream about being there, wake up and think you're still there. I hate to admit but I did that a few days after we came home. The mind can be a torture device at times Embarrassed
