    Lingering Issues?

I am wondering if some, if not all, of the customer service issues were resolved? I know Aleta did an excellent job getting badges to the right people. Anyone have any other stories (aside from Staff Assault), either good or bad?

    Re: Lingering Issues?

This won't work next year, and it didn't hurt anyone, but someone who honestly never received their badge and tickets, and was told by customer service that it was just tough luck, went back into the system, switched the preference to will call, then showed up at will call, and they reprinted everything.

My feelings are mixed on this. On the one hand, it is somewhat of a cheat. On the other hand, he wasn't getting anything he hadn't paid for. He had to show his ID, and he got all his events.

I suppose in the long run it doesn't matter, since the method for preferences are being changed next year anyway. I /do/ have to admire the heck out of the quick-thinking though. I know if it happened to me I'd be desolate, since I was the one who bought all the TD tix. Color me a willcall person from here on out. The risk of having to replace these is just too great!

Once this was a known issue, Aleta was notified and did her best to fix this, but hopefully it will not be an issue next year.

My badge wasn't in the packet, and it was on Will Call from day one. Any theories as to why this happened?

It was definately death rays form Mars.  No, it was the CIA trying to kill JFK.  No, It was jetliners dumping toxic gas in their exhaust fumes.  Oh wait, I thought you said conspiracy theories.  Stick out tongue
