Review: Green Line Bus - Airport Transportation

I mentioned this in another post, but I figured that I would post in the Housing and Transportation forum as there has been discussion as to the best way to get from the airpot to the hotels down town.

I tried the new Green Line Bus from the Airport to Downtown this year and it worked great.  It is $7 exact change or credit card.  It has a stop by the baggage claim at the airport and three stops down town which are near the major convention hotels.  First stop near the Omni / Crowne Plaza; Second Stop near Embassy Suites Area; Third Stop in front of the convention center near the Mariott, Westin, Hyatt.

I was a little concerned about wait time, but it was very quick.  On arrival at the airport, I waited less than 5 minutes for a bus.  When I left the Mariott to go back to the airport, I caught the bus as it was pulling up, No waiting at all.

It is new this year, and I hope it catches on and stays in operation because it is a great option for people who don't want to pay for a $20 cab ride from the airport.  Yes
