    A BIG Thanks to YTCC!!!

I should have written this earlier but life got in the way.

I got the chance to play another game with you all this year, (The Last Days of Central State on Saturday night) and just like my first experience, this was THE highlight of the con.  I am jealous and thrilled with the amount of care and thought that goes into each adventure.  The props were terrific and the adventure was brilliant.  You can be assured that I will be signing up for more next year (and saving my Sunday morning, just in case).

I should also mention the other players.  You know its going to be a good game when a few people get into their characters.  You know its going to be a great game when everyone at the table gets into their characters.  I had a terrific time because, not only did everyone get into their characters, they all knew when to step out of the limelight to let others have a chance.

    Bravo, just Bravo.

Awww, thanks for your kind words, Black Jack!  You are too kind.

You and your fellow Saturday night crew were great role-players, and really kept Mr Ripley and I on our toes.  Did you play Ricky, perchance?  Devil

That's Me!  Unfortunately I seem to have left my Ion Blaster behind somewhere.  Did you happen to find it?  If so, please do not try to take it apart, it could be very harmful to people of your primitive intelligence (not to mention it needs repairs and has been eating up the squirrels like crazy).Wink

Heh, Ricky is the best.  I got to play him at MavenCon (RIP) back in March.  Man, I wanted to fry that guy with my ION blaster.....ah well, maybe in another time.

Mr. Ripley and Ripley are great GM's.  Good story, nice twists, interesting characters and a very very cool Cthulu-esque ending.

Ripley, you need to post a picture of The Ricky.  He's too good lookin' to keep under wraps.

Heh...don't blame the blaster, baby - you just didn't believe in it enough!  Cool

And I'd totally post a picture of Ricky, if I weren't scared that someone might see it and be like, "Hey!  Thats my Uncle!"

    That would be bad, lol.

    Hey Ripley!

I am finally getting back to your message that you left on another thread. I'm the chick that was nosily taping the Friday night "Last Days..." and I just wanted to say thanks again for your patience. Mr. Ripley did an excellent job (even if he was a little nervous in front of the camera.)

If anyone from the Friday night session should read this note, please know that you guys were fabulous, and I loved seeing every second of your game! Here's a few videos from the session:

Just be forewarned, I'm making YTCC my priority game to get next year.  So while everyone else is clamboring for, well, whatever else, I'll be signing up for every game I can.  Wink

I did my first YTCC (Falling Star on Friday afternoon) and had no idea what to expect. I can say I'll definitely be trying to get a slot or two next year and work on my acting chops, now that I know it's kinda a LARP.

Quiet you!  We're not a LARP!  Cool    Its just that some groups happen to be a bit more, um, energetic than others, lol...

(And if you're a local, come play with us on October 11th!  Not sure which Cthulhu scenario Bob & Dave will be running, but it probably won't be "Flaming Star."  It will prolly be "Snakes" or "Thing on the Ice!")

I am local, but I work third shift, and usually these things happen in the morning and early afternoon, so I'm usually asleep. It's a shame, too, because I'm a 5 minute walk away from the Arsenal. I'll have to look at the schedule of events and see when stuff is being run, but I've got my eye on it, rest assured. Smile

Oh, and I did say "kinda", hehe.
