    My favorite booth

This year, my favorite booth was Dr Who America. We got my son a Dalek that he keeps on the head of his bed and he has a Doctor to put in the homemade Tardis I painted for him. Perfect fit.

I like it when I find a one of a kind booth like that. I like the unique finds. That one really did it for me this year.

    How about you?

Crazy Egor's is always good, I usually find great buys there. Crystal Caste gets points too for having the most cordial customer service I experienced at the con.

Crystal Castle was awesome. My wife and I bought the Gen Con dice and they gave all four of my kids free dice.

Whiz Kids looked cool with the live action. Come on Wizards.. Do better next year!!

Favorite booth for me would be a close toss-up between Northstar Games and Troll Lord Games. Say Anything! has been a huge hit at home with all different types of folks, and the booth folks demoing it were great. But then again, Castles and Crusades from TLG has gotten me more excited about running campaigns then any game in along time, has a real old school D&D feel to it and the guys there were great with questions also. Too hard to pick for me, so I'll call it a tie.

    Fat Dragon Games:

In 2007 they kind of got screwed over because their boot was stuck behind the Spoils Bus.  This year year, they had a great corner end location on one of the main aisles.  It seem that every time I walked anywhere in the dealer's hall this year I was walking past the Fat Dragon Booth.  I hope the increased foot traffic resulted in good sales this year.

Also, there is some justice:  The Spoils company with their big bus - out of business.  Fat Dragon - still kicking and got a much better booth location.  Big Smile

I had a lot of fun at the Continuum booth (even though I know most people don't appreciate the addition of the electronic gaming booths there), simply because the people were so darn nice and were willing to put up with any and all questions that I could up with about the game. Lots of fun there.

Parasols by Tami..I think I spelt it right. I'll check when I get home and go to her myspace page. But she makes the most amazing parasols and I got one that went with my steampunk costume perfectly. If I can afford I'm going to buy another one or two from her next year as well. Thanks to Mrs. Nemo for telling me about this booth!!!

Parasols, eh?  I myself spent a minimal time in the Dealers Hall this year, so my favorite booth would have to be the only one I stopped at, the Chainmail Wench/Gamers for Humanity booth.

Anyway, as to parasols and other such items.  The Dealers Hall sure does attract a much wider assortment of vendors than when I first started attending GenCon back in 1992, which by the way I thoroughly approve of.Yes

Well the booth I got my parasol at was in the Artist Ally. But I do consider that a part of the dealers hall lol.
