Premier events with tickets still available
Looking for some more events to sign up for? Not sure where to start? If you're overwhelmed by the 6500+ events in the full schedule and want to find a quality event, we have put together a list of premier events that still have tickets available (as of Wednesday, 6/17).
These events are all run by some of the best gaming groups and companies at Gen Con. They work closely with us to maintain a high level of quality and their events are reliably well-attended. These games include a variety of board games from Rogue Judges, Tracy Hickman’s Killer Breakfast, the incredibly exciting and immersive TerrorWerks, and several Pathfinder events.
If you have any questions about these events or want other suggestions on events to check out at the convention, stop by the Event Info forum and ask your fellow attendees. Please visit our GM forum for more information on the Premier Events Reward Program.

Anime & Film schedule is up, with special guest, Vic Mignogna
The initial Anime & Film schedules are now live in the registration system – make sure to check out the special screenings we have this year, including Richard Garriott and Tracy Hickman’s Apogee of Fear, the first SF movie filmed in space and Mercury Men, the new series from the creators of Captain Blasto, a winner of the Gen Con Film Contest. There is also a special, immersive presentation for the upcoming movie based on Matt Forbeck’s classic superhero RPG, Brave New World.
We are also pleased to announce a special guest: Vic Mignogna (Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist) will be attending Gen Con Indy 2009. In addition to several Q&A panels, he will be talking about his experience in the voice acting and music business, and sharing some of his favorite memories of working on Fullmetal Alchemist. This is your chance to meet the voice behind one of the most popular anime characters in recent memory!
Visit our forums for more information!

GPX Gaming in the eGame Arena
Welcome to the new Gen Con eGame Arena. We’ve added more stations, more competition, better prizes and ultimately greater glory. Our focus has narrowed to bring you the games you play with your buds in a compact professional format. We’ve brought on the pros at GPX to bring you the slickest gaming experience available. With Left 4 Dead, Rock Band, Halo 3 and the new Wii Punch Out!, fragging, slagging, cooking or rocking the faces off of your friends and fellow Gen Con attendees will be the order of day.
Come on down to the eGame Arena in the Exhibit Hall for virtual mayhem courtesy of Gen Con and GPX. Check out the schedule in the registration system and stop by our eGame forums for full event details and to forge your alliances and rivalries before you even arrive!
