Tuesday Night Blood Bowl at The Ram....and YOU

Who's up for a game on Tuesday Night at The Ram?  I haven't played in years, so I don't have anything to really offer other than my enthusiasm and some left over chocolate under my fingernails.  I figure the eating festivities will be from 6 - 8 and gaming festivities afterwards, but there's no iron-clad rule on that.

I've been planning on haunting the RAM Tuesday night and trying to get in to whatever game is there, so I'm up for it!

Dude, I wouldn't trust anything from under your nails after we go crawling through Coco, the Colossal Colon at the State Fair that day!! Hmmm, watching Godzilla vs the Smog Monster while playing Blood Bowl and eating Fried Pickles??? Is it August, yet????

Hrm wonder if I can take Tuesday off of work to hit the State Fair in Indy and then the RAM Tuesday night.  I mean, I know it's two days early, but seriously!

(Probably not, but it's worth checking out.)

I still need to hit the State Fair one of these years.

Ooookay then, Sparky. And after we kill it, we can go to Disneyland!

Then this is the year!! How much more fun can you have than hanging out with the KFG at the State Fair, seeing how many different combinations of food can be deep fried and eaten??? Join us....

    Ooooo, dangit....

The arm didn't need much twisting; but...I'll see, I can work Sunday and Monday instead and drive out early Tuesday.  Hrm.  It MIGHT be doable.

Though seeing how many different things someone can try and deep fry might be a lot of fun ;)

How far away is the fair?   We meet somewhere and then caravan out there?    What time?

Oh yeah, that's not a problem. The fair is only a few miles from the downtown. Lterally go north on Meridian until Fall Creek, take a right and go until 38th street, the fairgrounds are on the left. You should check with the hotels and see if they will offer shuttle service...lol. If not, we'd be glad to pick people up and bring em back for Tuesday Gaming.

    Blood Bowl!!!

I have 3 pitches and about 8 different teams.

I will be about 45 minutes from the locale staying with my GFs Bro.  I might be able to convince her that coming in for some dinner and BB is the way tuesday is supposed to pan out.

We aren't pulling into town till like 4 in the afternoon.  Just enough time to take a refreshing shower, sit and relax for an hour or so, and then get all prettied up for gaming at the Ram.

No time for the fair for me.  And my arteries are thanking me for it.

Re: Tuesday Night Blood Bowl at The Ram....and YOU

Okay so I have the okay from my boss to go Tuesday to the fair.  So, does anyone have crash space Tuesday night?  That's the only issue, and as much as I can sleep in my car, I don't want to hit Wednesday gaming without a shower.

ESPECIALLY after crawling around the State fair. :)

Alas - I will not be arriving until Wednesday, so my "Creeveland Browns" human team will not be making an appearance.

Re: Tuesday Night Blood Bowl at The Ram....and YOU

Does this mean I might FINALLY get to play after not doing so for 10 years?

I wanted to play last year but decided to ignore my expensive tickets (didn't get the refund in quick enough) after I read through the current tournament rules. (They really need to lay off the narcotics when making some of those rules.) I'm all for the death and mayhem to commence with my Chaos Dwarf team "Born Losers".

Think we can get a mini tourney going? I seem to remember it taking about 3 hours per game, so that would only be about 2 games per person for the night... so probably just a lot of one-off games. I have a set with DeathBowl to bring as well. If anyone needs a team thrown together (figs, anyway) let me know. Most of them are unpainted. I might even still have a box or two still sealed.

I even have a team generator which works really well if anyone is interested. It's excel based and what we used primarily in the leagues I played in / ran a decade ago.

Quote from Dragons of the Dwarven Depths, p259 ... Tas and Tanis talking after Tas says a prayer for the massacred Gully Dwarves.
"It was good of you to think of that," said Tanis. "None of the rest of us did."
"You're busy thinking big things," said Tas. "I keep track of the small stuff."

I guess I'll just watch.  I don't have any teams.  Ohh I could be the coach on the sidelines yelling at the players.
