 Connie B.:Look east down Georgia St. from the ICC and you'll see Banker's Life Fieldhouse. It used to be called Conseco until a few months ago. At least most of the Fringe folks will probably be up on Mass Ave. which is about a mile from the Convention Center.
Yeah, but the Fringe folks'll still probably get crowded out a bit.
This is really starting to sound like a weird and bad science-fiction story where people from multiple timelines and cultures are dropped into the same area for some nefarious reason.

Keeper: It's funny there has been a number of events at the Fieldhouse during Gen Con but they really haven't had any impact on the show.

I know there have been events there during the con, but the events that run haven't been (imho) very mainstream or have been Gencon related. The last 4 years I can remember were 2 Video Games Live performances, either AAA or Womens basketball, and some kind of concert(?) last year that looked awful fancy based on the view from Scottys.
Only reason I chimed in was because this is the first time I can think of where I actually know the name that will be performing... and Gene really did seemingly out himself as a "Voice-r"

My 13 year old daughter is always watching that, Dancing with the Stars and some other show...it's not idol, but something similar I think...at least one TV in the house seems to always have one or the other on

Favorite Gen Con yet. Colts pre-season game. No close parking available, opposing team had to stay at least a 40 minute drive away. The field of blue jerseys looking like bad cosplay. Woo Hoo! As far as the concert and things, we can do it! not many folks park in the Bankers Life parking lot for the Con. So they pretty much have the run of the Fieldhouse and generally run off after. Really no impact at all.
If this is the middle of nowhere, where is the beginning and end? Code of ConductCreate a Meme!
