• Re: No Dragonlance at the film fest?

Please do NOT blame Maraget or Tracey. They did not see the finished product much before we did. They did NOT have access to see the progress. They DID have SOME access to the audio, and a few of the actors who called for guidance. If you want Tracey's reaction to the movie, look up his podcast and...

I have meet Margaret Weis a couple times at her booth in the buyers hall. She is very nice lady. I have always loved her work especially Dragonlance. I have over 35 novels based on Krynn. I also have a complete collection of the DC comics that came out in the 90's. I am interested in coming to event...

Folks, Mixed reactions to the movie aside, we have successfully added the Dragonlance movie to the screening schedule and will be showing on Sunday morning at 9:30 AM. Margaret Weis will be there to introduce the film and answer a few questions for the fans. For the record, I liked the script, liked...

Unfortunately we cannot run official Dragonlance events now that our license is over. We do have some clearance game products on sale at Booth #1005 for very cheap. I hope some good Dragonlance gaming happens. Jamie Chambers Vice President Margaret Weis Productions, Ltd.

I didn't care for the movie. It was horrible. I am an avid Dragonlance Fan. Back in the mid 90's I ran a BBS based on Dragonlance and my SysOp name was Raistlin Majere. The worst part of it was that it was so bad that I couldn't imagine anyone making the second or third films. I suspect they...
So i take it the dragonlance animated movie wasn't that good?
I'm pretty (ok, exceptionally) forgiving when it comes to movies. This was bad. The soundtrack was good, but that's about the extent of it. If it gives you an idea, Fear The Boot...

  • Re: Dragonlance

It could easily pass for Dragonlance, but I don't remember any 2-tone dragons running around. Maybe they had mixed parentage. The one on the right had a Blue dragon mom and a Gold dragon dad, the one on the left had the same mom, but a Red dragon dad? Of course, a Gold dragon associating with either...

Stop by one of his room parties, you'll get to see for yourself. I think he had 2 last year, and we have yet to hear how many he has planned for this year.

jomarinomail, don't delve too deep in his mindset. You'd have a better chance at avoiding permanent insanity having a stare-down contest with a mind flayer. Trust us, his wiring is not quite up to code, so the connections he makes come frighteningly easy for him. This is just one of the quirks...

I would be interested, depending on what else was going on at the time. Did I mention I gamed with Jason Marsden when I played last year with MWP? The voice of Tasslehoff...
