  • GM email: Post-Show Wrap-Up

Prolly the last GM email for 2008: [quote]Another Gen Con Indy has come and gone and I want to thank you for helping to make a success. Overall, it seemed like things operated more smoothly than ever before, due in no small part to much more communication with GMs much earlier in the year so we had time...

  • GM email: Final Confirmations (GM badges, hotels)

Another GM email - everything's coming together, so let me know if you still have loose ends. [quote] The show is just around the corner and all GM badge and hotel requests have been processed. GM Badges I have processed all GM badge requests I have received to date. If you have not received a response...

  • GM email - Approaching Deadlines - Event Changes, GM badges, hotels

I just sent another reminder GM email. [quote] Gen Con Indy 2008 is rapidly approaching and I wanted to send a quick reminder about some rapidly approaching deadlines. Now is a good time to review your events and plans for the show so that we can address any conflicts, problems or issues now. Program...

  • Re: GM Badges and Event Registration

Derek, That's not entirely true. I sent you my group's form, as EO, and they don't have their badges in their accounts. I confirmed the ID #s in the form with the ID #s that show up upon login and there's none in place. :-( Cheers, D

  • Re: GM Badges and Event Registration

I've added GM badges for all groups I received a request form from. If you don't have a GM badge in your account now, either you're signing into the wrong account or your EO didn't send your name to me

  • Re: GM Badges and Event Registration

You can refer to the EO/GM page and the EHP for full details, but basically if you're an indepent GM (i.e. not part of a gaming group or company) then you'll want to buy a regular attendee badge. On site, you will need to fill out your GM time sheet (and turn in your event tickets!) which you...

  • GM Badges and Event Registration

Hi folks, Sorry for the newbish question, but this is only my second GenCon. I've submitted five 4-hour rpg events, which should put me over the 96 point limit for a GM badge. I submitted my events during the final round so I'm still waiting for their approval. However, I want to sign up for...

  • Re: GM Badges

It's really just a management issue more than anything else. A GM badge doesn't give you special access to anything, so it's not a security concern or anything - it's really just a matter of time and clarity in record keeping. Dealing with a gaming group or company to coordinate their...

  • Re: GM Badges

Normally, only GMs who are part of a group or working for a company can get a GM badge ahead of time. The event organizer for that group or companies will fill out the GM badge request form and submit it to me. Independent GMs simply just buy an attendee badge and submit for reimbursement after the show...

  • How to Find Your Account Information

This is a quick explanation of how to find your account number in the Gen Con registration system. You need to include your account number on any reimbursement request or if you are requesting a GM badge.
