Need another night at the Con

We got our room right when the block opened and got a room for Friday Night. Now the wife decided we can stay till Sunday. Anyone got a room for grabs for Saturday Night? Lookin for Westin if posible. I may just have to bite the bullet and get one at regular rate.

Probably no better idea, and it might give a major unfair advantage to early bookers... You said you negotiate the block rooms years in advance. Time to upgrade?

With all of the rooms selling out in just a couple of days,could it be time to look at a different city in the Midwest to host Gencon? Wasn't that the reason that Pete decided to move from Milwaukee? Lets give him a hand and make a few suggestions.So far 3 years in a row have left me with a bad taste...

Selected Westin, went on and filled out info, then got message saying room wasnt available. By then the Marriott and Hyatt were full. Ended up at the Hilton But I did call and get on the waiting list for Westin, Marriott and Hyatt.

Thanks for the info. Now for the really stupid question since I don't do much travelling. What is meant by Double, Triple, and Quad. We are going to have two couples in the room. Would a Double be two beds and if so, what size? Same questions for the triple and quad. Or should I just contact the hotel...
