I went digging to see who came up with the caption... and I had to dig a lot. It turns out Noffham was the Shakespere extraordinaire. Congrats, oh Modly one. It was one of his first recommendations.

event submission deadline (x) announcement of winner (y) The turnout for this caption contest I think went way beyond what could possibly have been expected even by optimistic results, and the quality of 80% of the submissions were way above par to boot. A little hint that the KFG Poobahs were wracking...
