What is the EASIEST game to run at GenCon? You guessed it, Morton's List ! No board to set up - the convention center/real world IS the "board" No characters to create/pass out - the players ARE the "characters" No adventure to think up - just sit back and let fate/chance/Karma...

Questions about Events

(Yes, I read every FAQ I could find & I looked in the forums) - What are exactly events? Niether the FAQ nor the catalog are very precise. - If you decide to sign up for one, what happens then? - If the event says "Newcomers" what exactly is meant by that? - Any other things I should know...

The first batch of event locations are released months early!

Every year people ask for event details to be released earlier and this year we have to keep a much tighter eye on space, so we tried to kill several birds with one stone by kinda of combining event review with event placement and just try to take care of all of it much earlier than we have in the past...

We've talked about this before, and I really have to completely disagree. Organizing the event catalog in the on-site book by anything other than time doesn't really make a whole lot of sense - it makes it much harder to just open the book and find out what's going on now or when you know you will be...
